• a girl who is meant for great things with the power she has is taken in by woman who seems to always find herself in the worst of it. Living in a place where the struggle to keep your things is the least of your worries when you can lose your life. • she loses her home after being away to try and work, someone had moved in while she was gone, but she always has a back up plan. Using the old run down building on the outskirts of town she had outfitted the building with supplies. • over the years the two would add defenses to ensure their safety from those who would want to hurt them. • the woman, though with little to nothing to her name, was caring and giving and took in those who needed help. A few dogs had her heart and if anything were to happen to them or the girl she took in, hell hath no fury. • she was accurate with a bow, and seemed to hold a magic power which she was unaware, casting fire with her weapon if she so wishes. • she would teach her adopted daughter skills that would help her succeed in life, to make sure she wouldn't end up with nothing like her. • they were happy • later they would stumble upon three young men. • one was a quiet young man, around 16 or 17. The other two were older, probably older than the woman herself. • at first she was wary of them, trying to protect her daughter and their dogs was her first priority. • they were wanderers as well, lost like her and the girl she had took. The woman didn't care, and fought fiercely for her. • it would come out that the two older men were in fact soldiers that were part of an experimental program, which explained their abnormal strength. They defected after realizing they'd never escape the endless bloodshed they were forced to commit if they stayed. The group was to either bring them back or kill them if they resisted. • the woman would tell the young man to protect the girl and dogs and to hide which they did. The woman would find the kind man in a state of willingness to give himself up in order to protect their family. She was defiant, and said that if he didn't want to go back to that life then he doesn't have to and willing to protect and help him stay. • with a renewed sense, they do their best to fight off their attackers. Slipping away when caught until finally the last of them backed them into a corner. The family fled into a room. The stoic soldier captured, tortured, and being used as bait to lure the other man out. The young boy was frustrated he couldn't do anything and offered to go and help. But the older kind man stopped him. • He revealed he had visions and saw a greatness in the young boy's future. His academic achievements would bring him great success and that by helping now that vision would get blurry. It was unknown if he'd survive if he helped. Relectant, the young man stayed put after the woman convinced him to stay and protect the girl. • the woman find a way to sneak up on their attackers. The kind man would try to stop her saying he had great visions of her too. She would save so many people in the future and his visions would get blurry if she decides to help him here. She didn't care. All she cared about was protecting her family, and they were a part of it now. • the woman and kind man take out their attackers one by one. They struggle with some and would seem to be victorious. Until a juggernaut shoots the kind man, he crumbles to the floor hurt. • anger and disdain, it felt like all was lost. But from deep down a power emerges from the woman. Without a physical weapon, one manifests in her fingertips as a blast of heat and fire erupts from her hand. It hits their attacker pushing him away and finally killing him. She takes out the rest with this power and she subsides. • they won. • she helps the kind man over to his friend to check on him. The attackers had stripped the stoic man and had beaten him but he seemed to be okay. He was a bit angry that they had gone after him, saying it was a trap and that they should've have left. The woman refused and said he was her family now, and family needs to be protected.
